The unsaid

Take me to a land
where,
the night unrolls her bed,
a sheet of darkness for light instead.
only your hand within my hand,
only two souls too near,
in the limitless solitude and utter dissolution of fear.

Take me to a land
call me for an anxious union hither...
two hands , two hearts beating fast,
only half known to each other.
in the russet dawn come smiling through,
as you came in my meaningless dreams
to make me know they were true or untrue.

Take me to a land
where,
the eyes set in the shore of desire,
and i miss what i was to say.
with the night aglow and the warm extinguished fire...
look into my face with your eyes
expressive of all emotions.
so that i'm all yours
in my delicate motions.
